Hindustan Unilever Ltd. is set to announce its financial results for the quarter and the financial year ending March 2025 (FY25) this week. Investors and analysts will watch for signs of demand recovery in Q4. The FMCG firms saw a slowdown in the December 2024 quarter. The urban growth had moderated, while rural demand showed a gradual recovery.

Moreover, focus will be on the company’s strategy for Q1FY26, in light of the central government’s budget announcement providing higher tax relief to citizens. This move is expected to boost consumption.

Hindustan Unilever will release its financial results for the March Quarter and Financial Year 2025 on Thursday, April 24.

The Board will also consider recommending a dividend, if any, for the said period.

A teleconference/webcast will be hosted by management at 16:00 hours (IST) on the same day, the company informed the stock exchanges. 

"The company aims to discuss its performance and key financial highlights during the call. Further details regarding the call will likely be shared closer to the date of the event," it said.

In view of the scheduled release of financial results, the company has also informed the exchanges that its trading window will remain closed for designated employees and their immediate relatives from March 16 and will remain in effect until 48 hours after the financial results become public. 

On a year-on-year basis, Hindustan Unilever reported a 1.6% jump in its Q3 FY25 revenue at Rs 15,818 crore. Its Ebitda rose 0.8% YoY to Rs 3,695 crore. The company’s net profit increased 18.9% YoY to Rs 2,984 crore. Meanwhile, the margins dipped to 23.4% from 23.5% compared to the same quarter a year ago.

Over the last one month, shares of Hindustan Unilever have jumped nearly 6%. Shares of the company have dropped more than 10% in the past six months, while rising 6.62% in the last year. At 2:20 p.m. on Tuesday, HUL shares were trading 1.67% higher at Rs 2,390.20 apiece as compared to a 0.21% rise in benchmark Nifty 50.
