Fortis Healthcare Q4 Results: Profit Rises 47%, Beats Estimates

Fortis Healthcare Ltd.'s consolidated net profit increased 47% in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2024, beating analysts' estimates.

The company posted a net profit of Rs 203 crore in the quarter-ended March, in comparison with Rs 138 crore in the year-ago period, according to an exchange filing on Thursday. Analysts tracked by Bloomberg had estimated a profit of Rs 166.84 crore.

• Revenue up 8.7% to Rs 1,786 crore versus Rs 1,643 crore (Bloomberg Estimate: Rs 1,797.24 crore).

• Ebitda up 40.7% to Rs 381 crore versus Rs 271 crore (Bloomberg Estimate: Rs 334.86 crore).

• Margin at 21.3% versus 16.5% (Bloomberg Estimate: 18.60%).

• Net profit up 47% to Rs 203 crore versus Rs 138 crore (Bloomberg Estimate: Rs 166.84 crore).

Shares of the company closed 0.075% lower at Rs 469.35 apiece on the NSE, as compared with a 1.64% gain in the benchmark Nifty 50.
