Cyient Ltd.'s consolidated net profit jumped 39% in the quarter ended March, meeting analysts' estimates.
The company posted a profit of Rs 170.4 crore in the fourth quarter of the last financial year, according to an exchange filing on Thursday. The consensus estimate of analysts tracked by Bloomberg stood at Rs 172.6 crore.

Revenue down 0.9% to Rs 1,909.2 crore versus Rs 1,926.4 crore (Bloomberg estimate at Rs 18,750.5 crore).
EBIT up 5% to Rs 234.8 crore versus Rs 223.3 crore.
Margin expands to 12.3% versus 11.6%.
Net profit up 39% to Rs 170.4 crore versus Rs 122.3 crore (Estimate at Rs 172.6 crore).
Cyient recommended a final dividend of Rs 14 per share at a face value of Rs 5 each for the financial year 2024–25, aggregating to Rs 155.5 crore.
Shares of Cyient closed 0.35% lower at Rs 1,242.80 apiece on the NSE, compared to a 0.34% fall in the benchmark Nifty. The stock has fallen 34.28% in the last 12 months and 32.36% on a year-to-date basis.
Out of the 24 analysts tracking the company, 12 have 'buy' rating on the stock, six recommend 'hold' and as many suggest 'sell', according to Bloomberg data. The average of 12-month analysts' price target implies a potential upside of 24.7%.
