Adani Energy Solutions Q4 Results: Profit Rises 80%, Widely Beats Estimates

Adani Energy Solutions Ltd.'s profit rose substantially in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2025.

The transmission company's bottom-line advanced 79.2% year-on-year to Rs 647.15 crore in the quarter ended March, in comparison with Rs 361.44 crore in the same quarter a year ago, according to an exchange filing on Thursday.

Adani Energy Solutions Q4 Highlights (Consolidated, YoY)

  • Revenue rose 35.43% to Rs 6,374.58 crore versus Rs 4,706.85 crore. (Bloomberg estimate: Rs 5,440 crore)

  • Ebitda rose 43.8% to Rs 2,250.8 crore versus Rs 1,565.52 crore. (Estimate: Rs 1,832 crore)

  • Margin at 35.3% versus 33.26%. (Estimate: 33.7%)

  • Net profit rose 79.04% to Rs 647.15 crore versus Rs 361.44 crore. (Estimate: Rs 310 crore)

What Helped Earnings

The 35% surge in Adani Energy Solutions revenues in Q4FY25 was driven due to growth seen in all its segments:

  • Transmission: Up 36.4% at Rs 2,246.7 crore

  • Distribution: Up 21.4% at Rs 2,907.17 crore

  • Trading: Up 3x at Rs 378.28 crore

This strong topline growth coupled with a 37% fall in other expenses is what helped with Ebitda growth and margin expansion.

Following the quarterly results, shares of Adani Energy Solutions rose as much as 3.5% to trade at Rs 971.7 apiece on the NSE. At 3:22 pm, the stock pared some of the gains to trade 2.3% higher at Rs 960.65, compared to 0.31% decline in the benchmark Nifty 50.
