Prime Minister Modi Praises India For Becoming 'Global Leader In AI Adoption'

According to a new Boston Consulting Group AI Radar global survey, India has become a global leader in adopting AI as a core strategic focus.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated India on becoming the global leader by adopting artificial intelligence as its core strategic focus.

"Proud to see India emerge as a global leader in adopting AI. This highlights India’s commitment to innovation and leveraging AI for transformational growth," Narendra Modi said on X (formerly known as Twitter).

According to a new Boston Consulting Group AI Radar global survey, India has become a global leader in adopting AI as a core strategic focus, with 80% of firms prioritising it, surpassing the global average of 75% in this area.

The survey also highlighted that 69% of the Indian firms plan to increase their investment towards AI. One-third of them will provide more than $25 million for AI projects, placing India among the top spenders on AI worldwide.
