Haryana Public Holiday 2025 Calendar: State Government Announces 21 Holidays; Check Full List

The Haryana government has released its list of public holidays for 2025 just ahead of the new year. According to the state's holiday calendar, issued on Dec. 26, there will be a total of 21 public holidays in 2025, excluding weekends. Additionally, there will be holidays on 52 Saturdays and 52 Sundays throughout the year.

Along with the list of public holidays, the Haryana government also released three separate lists: one for restricted holidays, another for holidays under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, and a third for Special Days.

Haryana Public Holidays 2025

There will be 21 public holidays in Haryana in 2025, leading to the closure of public offices under the state government on these days.

"It is hereby notified that the holidays enumerated in Schedule-I, II and III below shall be observed as Public Holidays in all Public Offices under the Haryana Government during the Calendar Year 2025," the government notification said.

Haryana Restricted Holidays 2025

In addition to the public holidays, employees of the Haryana government will be entitled to three extra restricted holidays. These holidays apply to outsourced employees too. Here is the list of restricted holidays in Haryana for 2025.

Haryana Holidays Under Negotiable Instrument Act

"It is hereby notified that the holidays enumerated in the schedule shall be observed as Public Holidays in the State of Haryana (Except Judicial Courts) during the Calendar year 2025 within the meaning of section 25 of Negotiable Instrument Act, 188," the government notification said.
