The GIFT Nifty traded 0.40% higher at 25,077.5 as of 6:09 am, signalling a positive start to Indian equities.
US stock-index futures along with Sydney and Tokyo were little changed while, the futures indicted gains in Hong Kong.

Markets On The Home Turf
The benchmark equity indices ended with gains on Tuesday, led by share prices of Jio Financial Services Ltd. and Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd.
The NSE Nifty 50 ended 72.45 points, or 0.29% higher at 25,044.35, while the BSE Sensex closed 158.32 points, or 0.19% up at 82,055.11. During the day, the Nifty rose 1.38% to trade at 25,317.70 and the Sensex rose 1.37% to 83,018.16.
Commodity Check
Oil snapped its two-day declining streak and rose over 1% on Wednesday as industry report indicated a decline in inventories last week. This comes after West Texas Intermediate crude, dropped by up to 6% on Tuesday.
Brent crude was up 1.16% to $67.92 per barrel.
London Metal Exchange
Copper snaps two day gaining streak and falls 0.05%.
Aluminium fell after rising for two consecutive trading sessions down 0.43%.
Nickel was flat after declining for two consecutive trading sessions.
Zinc was also flat after it resumed gains after Friday's blip.
Lead ended 0.35% lower after ending the previous session in positive.
Asian Markets Update
S&P 500 futures remained largely flat.
Euro Stoxx 50 futures rose by 0.21%.
Futures for Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index increased by 0.8%.
Japan’s Topix index moved 0.15% lower.
Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 index future declined by 0.03%.
US Market Updates
The S&P 500 rose 1.1%, Nasdaq was up 1.5% on Tuesday, reporting its first record since February. The US dollar declined extended its decline and US Treasury futures also fell. This comes amid easing Middle East tensions and comments from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell.
“If it turns out that inflation pressures do remain contained, then we will get to a place where we cut rates, sooner rather than later,” said Powell.

Timex Group: Promoter Timex Group Luxury Watches B V to sell up to 15% stake via offer for sale on June 25 and 26. The company has announced floor price for the issue of Rs 175 per share, a discount of 35% of the current market price.
Aurobindo Pharma: The company's arm received Marketing Authorisation from UK’s medicines and healthcare products regulatory agency for Dyrupeg, Pegylated Filgrastim Biosimilar.
Sterlite Technology: The company received 11.12 crore arbitral award in its favour. The company had filed a statement of claim against BSNL for Non-Payment of AMC cost of Rs 11.12 crore.
JB Chemicals: The company received USFDA approval for an abbreviated new drug application of Amitriptyline Hydrochloride Tablets. Amitriptyline hydrochloride is indicated for relief of symptoms of depression.
Rashtriya Chemicals: The company approved issuance of NCDs worth Rs 300 crore including green shoe option on private placement basis.
Zydus Wellness: The company's arm Naturell India passes resolution and accords in-principle approval for voluntarily liquidation.
