The share price for National Mineral Development Corporation Steel rose nearly 3% in early trade on Wednesday after the company reported its quarter 4 results on Tuesday as revenue rose and losses narrowed.
The company's revenue rose 34% to Rs 2,838 from Rs 2,120 crore in the last quarter. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation loss contracted to Rs 291 crore from Rs 656 crore in the previous quarter, and net loss stood at Rs 473 crore versus loss of Rs 758 crore.

The scrip fell as much as 2.85% to Rs 40.40 apiece, the highest level since May 26, 2025. It pared gains to trade 0.31% higher at Rs 39.40 apiece, as of 10 a.m. This compares to a 0.26% decline in the NSE Nifty 50 Index.
The share price has fallen 8.55% on a year-to-date basis and is down 34.99% in the last 12 months. Total traded volume so far in the day stood at 1.8 times its 30-day average. The relative strength index was at 80.13.
