Renowned cricket voice Harsha Bhogle took to X to express his displeasure over services by budget carrier IndiGo. The famous commentator chided the airline for always putting their passengers last.
"One day I am going to invite people from @IndiGo6E home for dinner and ask them to wait outside the door till the table is laid and the food is cooked. #Rude. Always #IndigoFirstPassengerLast," Bhogle posted on the microblogging site.
In response, IndiGo clarified that the delay was due to its team assisting wheelchair users in boarding the flight.
"Remote bay boarding can sometimes take a little longer due to ongoing vehicular and aircraft movement on the tarmac. Thank you for your support and we hope you had a pleasant flight! Looking forward to serving you again soon," the airline replied on Bhogle's post.
On Bhogle's complaints, Market expert Devina Mehra jumped in to further accost IndiGo.
In another reply on the post, Mehra said she has started to use Indian Railways instead of flying.
On Saturday, Australian cricketer David Warner had blasted Air India for flight delay. The left-handed batsman alleged that he had to wait for hours on an aircraft which had no pilots.
"We've boarded a plane with no pilots and waiting on the plane for hours. Why would you board passengers knowing that you have no pilots for the flight?" Warner said in a post on X.
The Tata Group-owned airline said the challenging weather in Bengaluru caused diversions and delays across all airlines.
"The crew operating your flight was held up on an earlier assignment affected by these disruptions, which led to a delay in departure. We appreciate your patience and thank you for choosing to fly with us," the airline replied to Warner's post on X.
