The board of directors of GPT Infraprojects Ltd. will consider fund-raising options on July 5. The fundraise will be subject to approval from the shareholders of the company.
The company will consider a proposal to raise funds through equity shares or other securities, according to an exchange filing on Tuesday.
This includes fundraising through preferential issues, qualified institutional placement, rights issues, or any other permissible mode or a combination thereof.
GPT Infraprojects secured an order worth Rs 135 crore from North-Central Railways in March 2024. The order from the North Central Railways in Uttar Pradesh is for earthwork on embankments, the construction of minor bridges, subways, side drains, and toe walls.
Shares of GPT Infraprojects closed 1.03% higher at Rs 288 apiece on Tuesday, compared to a 0.07% decline in the NSE Nifty 50.
