The app is designed for Maha Kumbh Mela 2025—celebrated as the world's largest spiritual gathering.
Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 will begin in Prayagraj on Jan. 13, 2025, with the Paush Purnima Snan. The religious festival will end on Feb. 26, 2025, on the auspicious day of Maha Shivratri.
The chatbot aims to enhance the experience of devotees in the city, showcasing a groundbreaking blend of culture and technology.
"@Krutrim will provide LLM services for the Kumbh Sah'AI'yak app—an AI chatbot launched by Hon. PM @narendramodi ji today," Aggarwal shared the news on his X profile on Friday.
"This chatbot for Maha Kumbh 2025 will redefine the experience of all the devotees in Prayagraj, marking a milestone in uniquely Indian cultural-tech convergence," noted the Ola founder.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday performed a puja at the Sangam Nose before he launches development projects worth Rs 5,500 crore to improve the city's infrastructure and amenities for the Maha Kumbh 2025.
The Maha Kumbh, organised every 12 years, is the convergence of faith, culture, and ancient tradition. The event draws millions of devotees from across the world.
In the 2025 edition of Maha Kumbh Mela, lakhs of devotees, sadhus, and spiritual leaders will congregate in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, for special rituals and a holy bath at Sangam—the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers.
