Renewable energy player Alpex Solar on Monday said it has secured an order worth Rs 210.71 crore from state-owned Solar Energy Corporation of India. The project awarded by SECI is for the supply of advanced solar photovoltaic or PV, modules, the company said in a statement.
"The newly secured order will be fulfilled through its manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, which has recently expanded to 1.2 GW capacity," the company said.
"We have been chosen by SECI for this landmark project. This order underscores our commitment to pushing the boundaries of solar technology and contributing to India’s renewable energy mission," said Managing Director Ashwani Sehgal.
Shares of Alpex Solar closed 3.04% to Rs 569.956 apiece, compared to a 0.02% decline at the benchmark NSE Nifty 50. It has risen 60.80% in the last 12 months.
