Adani Group has initiated a nationwide effort to empower India's workforce, reflecting Chairman Gautam Adani's social philosophy—सेवा साधना है, सेवा प्रार्थना है, और सेवा ही परमात्मा है—service is meditation, service is prayer, and service is almighty god.
This initiative, supporting the 'Make in India' campaign, introduces the country's largest 'Skill and Employ' programme.
The Adani Group, in collaboration with the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, seeks to create a highly skilled workforce for industries like green energy, manufacturing, high-tech sectors, industrial design, and project excellence, among others.
To realise this vision, the Adani family has committed over Rs 2,000 crore to set up a world-class institution and finishing school in Mundra.
This initiative aims to select students from technical and vocational education backgrounds across India, tailoring their training to meet industry requirements and career goals.
Once certified, students will have the chance to secure jobs within the Adani Group or other relevant industries, ensuring they are prepared for the workforce from the outset.
"This partnership is pivotal to our group's mission of cultivating high-level technical talent and aligns seamlessly with our commitment to the 'Make in India' initiative across our diverse portfolio,” said Robin Bhowmik, chief executive officer of Adani Skills and Education.
“Through comprehensive engagement in academic quality assurance, certification-driven learning pathways, and faculty and student exchange programmes, this collaboration will integrate the finest application-based learning for India's youth," he said.w
