Budget 2025: India Post To Be Transformed As A Large Public Logistics Organisation

India Post will be transformed into a large logistics organisation to meet the needs of the entrepreneurs, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said in her budget speech on Saturday. The transformation will make use of the post office's network across the country, with the move expected to help boost the rural economy, the FM said. Already, initiatives such as the Daak Niryat Kendra by the India Post are facilitating exports for small businesses by providing a cost-effective and efficient export facilitation facility, according to the India Post.
