OnePlus Nord 6 Launched In India: Check Battery Capacity, Specification, Price And Features

The OnePlus Nord 6 launched in India on Tuesday. The device's standout features include an efficient Snapdragon processor and an advanced Wi-Fi chip, along with a large 9,000mAh battery. The device will retail at Rs 38,999 for 8GB RAM and 256 GB storage version and Rs 41,999 for the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage variant. The price of the latter can be brought down to Rs 35,999 and Rs 38,999 respectively for Axis Bank and HDFC Bank users for a limited time period.

It also has a six-month no cost EMI (Equated Monthly Installment) on "leading credit cards."

It is set go on sale across the country on April 9 onwards.

Standout Features

The device comes with a 50MP main camera from Sony with optical image stabilisation, along with a 32MP selfie camera with multi-focus features. The OnePlus Nord 6 sports a squircle-shaped (a square with rounded corners) rear camera module housing the lenses and LED flash.

The device also has a plastic frame and glass back, along with an IP69 rating for dust and water protection and the Plus Key. It sports a 1.5K 165Hz flat OLED display for the smartphone. It supports a 165Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits. The Nord 6 is also equipped with a 'Range Rocket' Wi-Fi chip to boost internet speeds by up to three times in dead zones.

It also has a 32,000 Hz touch capacity that reduce the time between a user's touch command and the screen responding, which makes reaction time quicker for gamers competing online.

On the software side, the device uses OnePlus AI and Google Gemini, which provides features such as the ability to summarise, phone call, YouTube videos and Masterclass courses in real time with AI, saving tons of time. It also comes with an AI writer for generating copies and tables, and an AI scanner for documents and lectures.

The device runs on a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset which supports 165fps gaming in titles such as Battlegrounds Mobile India through a new Touch Reflex chip and a six-axis gyroscope. This is coupled with around 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage.

The Nord 6 is powered by a sizeable 9,000mAh battery, claimed to be the segment's biggest, offering 2.5 days of power. It is supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, 27W wired reverse charging, and bypass charging. 

The OnePlus Nord 6 will be available in three colour options: Fresh Mint, Holographic Quick Silver (with a holographic border along the edges), and Pitch Black. The smartphone is available In India through official OnePlus channels and Amazon.

The device also has a Sandstone Magnetic Case that can be bought seperately retailing at Rs 899, with a special launch price of Rs 799. It also has a OnePlus SUPERVOOC 100W Dual Ports GaN Power Adapter Case accessory priced at Rs 3,499, with a specia launch price of Rs 3,199.
