Amid major hype, OnePlus on Monday teased the Nord 6, the Chinese brand's upcoming mid-range smartphone.
Taking to X, it shared a photograph featuring people sitting on a plane with screens placed in front of them highlighting the smartphone maker's next launch. The text written over it read, "Entering Nord Era" and "Arriving Soon".
"Looks like everyone's boarding the Nord flight. Are you in? #OnePlusNord," read the caption.
OnePlus Nord 6: Key Expectations
In a series of posts on social media, tipster Yogesh Brar revealed key specifications regarding OnePlus Nord 6, besides claiming that the upcoming smartphone will be more expensive than its predecessor. He has claimed that customers might have to pay anywhere between Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 extra on the new device. If this happens, then the base variant of OnePlus Nord 6 could start at Rs 35,000 in the Indian market.
Notably, Brar even stated that the phone will come in two variants, including 256GB of internal storage and 8GB RAM as well as 256GB of internal storage and 12GB RAM. This means that the company might not come out with a 512GB storage option for OnePlus Nord 6.
Moreover, the tipster suggested that the smartphone maker might not introduce the more affordable Nord CE 6.

Another post stated that the device could feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution as well as 165Hz refresh rate. While the company has not said anything about the launch date yet, the post suggests that the smartphone could be announced in the first week of April. It is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.
Besides this, a major highlight in OnePlus Nord 6 is expected to be the massive 9,000mAh Silicon-Carbon battery that will come with 80W fast charging support.
On the back, it is said to come with a 50MP Sony LYT600 with optical image stabilization (OIS) and 8MP ultra wide camera. In the front, customers can expect a 32MP auto focus selfie camera.
Earlier, the OnePlus Nord 5 was launched with a 50MP Sony LYT 700 and 50MP selfie camera. Also, the handset is expected to be made available in three colours - Black, Mint and Silver.
