Vivo only recently introduced the X300 Ultra and X300 FE in India, completing the X300 lineup that also includes the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro. While the X300 Ultra has been making buzz for its impressive camera features and the X300 FE as a compact photography-focused smartphone, leaks about the next-generation Vivo X500 lineup have already begun coming in. The X500 series will only launch later in 2026; however, a notable tipster has shared key specs for the series, including the display sizes.

Major Display Changes Tipped For Vivo X500 Series

According to tipster Digital Chat Station and a Gizmochina report, the Vivo X500 series is expected to include three models: the standard X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max. The leaks suggest notable changes in display sizes compared to the previous generation.

Vivo is reportedly moving away from the bigger display used on the X300 Pro. The X500 Pro may be smaller and more pocket-friendly than the current Pro model, while the standard X500 could be larger than its predecessor.

As per the leak, the Vivo X500 is rumoured to feature a 6.59-inch display, a significant upgrade from the 6.31-inch panel on the base X300. The X500 Pro, on the contrary, could arrive in a more compact form when compared with the X300 Pro, which sports a 6.78-inch display. This could be reduced to a 6.31-inch screen in the X500 Pro. A top-tier model — X500 Pro Max — is expected, sporting a bigger 6.85-inch panel.

In addition to display details, earlier reports indicate the X500 will house MediaTek's upcoming Dimensity 9600 processor, while the Pro and Pro Max variants are likely to use the more powerful Dimensity 9600 Pro. This marks another change from the X300 series, where both the standard and Pro models shared the same Dimensity 9500 processor.
