The Google Pixel 10a is generating a buzz as leaks begin to reveal what the next entry in the company's a-series line-up may look like. Earlier rumours suggested a 2025 launch, but the device is yet to make its official debut.
According to Android Headlines, the first official-looking render has emerged following CAD images released several months ago. The publication also reported on a leaked spec sheet in December 2025, which largely confirmed expectations for the device's hardware.
Design Echoes The Pixel 9a
The render shows the device in black, likely branded “Obsidian,” a name Google has consistently used for its black colour variant since the Pixel 6 redesign. Visually, the Pixel 10a appears similar to the Pixel 9a, featuring a flat back and prominent bezels. Even the higher-end Pixel 10 models have substantial bezels, making this design consistent with Google's current aesthetic.
The phone retains two rear cameras and a front-facing hole-punch camera, closely mirroring the Pixel 9a. Google has maintained that its a-series design tends to span three generations, suggesting that the Pixel 11a will likely follow this same design language.
Expected Specs
The specifications of the Pixel 10a will reportedly resemble those of the Pixel 9a. The device will feature a 6.3-inch display, technically 6.285 inches, that supports 120Hz refresh rates with a switchable 60Hz mode, but it will not offer a full LTPO panel.
Memory and storage options include 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, with a potential 256GB model also expected. Powering the device is a 5,100mAh battery with a maximum charging speed of 23W.
While the December 2025 spec sheet did not specify the processor, previous leaks indicate that the Pixel 10a will be equipped with an upgraded Tensor G4 chip, slightly different from other models in the Pixel 10 series.
Launch Timeline
The device is expected to launch likely around March or April. The Pixel 9a was announced in March 2025, but saw a delayed release in April due to an unspecified manufacturing issue.
