The Poco C85x 5G has launched in India. The latest C-series budget smartphone from Xiaomi's sub-brand Poco boasts a large 6.9-inch display, a powerful 6,300mAh battery, and dual rear cameras highlighted by a 32MP primary sensor, along with a water-drop style notch for the front camera. Poco has also touted the powerful performance of the C85x 5G.

One of the main highlights of the budget smartphone is its battery. Housed inside the Poco C85x 5G is a 6,300mAh cell, which Poco claims can deliver up to two days of usage on a single charge. It supports 15W wired charging and 7.5W wired reverse charging. Additional usage estimates include more than 35 hours of video playback, more than 20 hours of social media browsing, over 14 hours of gaming, or over 50 hours of voice calling. Poco has claimed 80% battery capacity retention after 1,000 recharge cycles.
The Poco C85x 5G comes with a 6.9-inch display with up to 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and TÜV Rheinland certifications for Circadian Friendly, Low Blue Light, and Flicker Free viewing.
On the camera front, the Poco C85x 5G features a dual rear setup led by a 32MP AI primary sensor, accompanied by an LED flash. The water-drop notch houses the front-facing selfie camera.
An octa-core processor powers the device, reaching a peak clock speed of up to 2.4GHz, and it achieves over 600,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmark. The phone comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM (including 4GB virtual RAM) and UFS 2.2 storage. It runs Android 16.
The device includes a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, e-compass, and fingerprint scanner. The Poco C85x 5G is rated IP52 for protection against water and dust.
Additional hardware includes a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom, dual-speaker system offering 200% “Super Volume” enhancement, USB Type-C port, speaker grille, and microphone.

Poco C85x 5G's price in India is Rs 13,499 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model, with Flipkart offering an introductory price of Rs 10,999. The 4GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 14,499 (Rs 11,999 after introductory discounts on Flipkart).
