Rashid Khan achieved a significant milestone on Monday as he became the first bowler to pick 700 wickets in T20s. The Afghanistan captain achieved the feat during his team's ICC T20 World Cup match against the UAE being played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
The historic moment arrived when the 27-year-old got Muhammad Arfan hit wicket.
Rashid reached the 700-wicket mark in his 518th match. The leg spinner will retain the record for a very long time as he is way ahead of second-placed Dwayne Bravo who has already retired from all forms of cricket.
