Formula 1 and Netflix have unveiled the trailer for Drive to Survive Season 8. The 1-minute, 53-second preview dropped on YouTube on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026. The docudrama-style series offers motorsport fans an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the drivers, teams and dramatic moments that shape each Formula One World Championship season.
Season 8 will chronicle the events of the 2025 Formula 1 campaign.
Who appears in the trailer?
The high-energy trailer packs in almost every major figure from the 2025 championship. Among the drivers featured are McLaren duo Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, four-time world champion Max Verstappen, seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton, and a strong lineup of 2025 rookies including Kimi Antonelli, Liam Lawson, Oliver Bearman, Gabriel Bortoleto, Jack Doohan and Isack Hadjar.
Team principals and senior leaders also make appearances, including Mercedes' Toto Wolff, Ferrari's Fred Vasseur, Alpine's Flavio Briatore, Red Bull's Christian Horner and McLaren CEO Zak Brown.

Drive to Survive Season 8 premieres on Netflix on Feb. 27.
Meanwhile the 2026 season of the Formula 1 will begin on March 8. Norris is the defending driver's champion and McLaren are the defending constructors' champions.
