Prominent private sector lender RBL Bank Ltd. is set to announce its financial earnings results soon. The bank in a filing has informed the stock exchanges that its board meeting for the same will be held later this week.
RBL Bank, formerly known as Ratnakar Bank Ltd., offers services across five verticals—corporate banking, commercial banking, branch banking and retail liabilities, retail assets, and treasury and financial markets operations. Headquartered in Mumbai, RBL Bank's total market capitalisation stands at nearly Rs 9,500 crore.

RBL Bank, in an exchange filing, said it would declare its Q3 results on Jan. 18 following a meeting of its board of directors.
"We hereby inform that the meeting of the board of directors of RBL Bank Limited (“the Bank”) is scheduled to be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, to, inter-alia, consider and approve the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results of the bank for the quarter and nine months ended Dec. 31, 2024, subject to a limited review by the Joint Statutory Auditors of the Bank," the bank said.
The trading window for dealing in the shares of the RBL Bank will remain closed till Tuesday, Jan. 21, the lender said further.

RBL Bank shares have declined 2% in the last week and 7.65% over a month. In the last year, the stock has nosedived as much as 45.43%. On Thursday, RBL Bank shares were trading at Rs 159.65 apiece on the NSE as of 10:38 a.m.
RBL Bank Q2 Results
RBL Bank Ltd. reported a 24% year-on-year decline in net profit to Rs 223 crore in the second quarter of the ongoing fiscal. In comparison, the private sector lender had reported a net profit of Rs 294 crore in the same quarter last year and Rs 372 crore in the preceding June quarter.
The gross non-performing assets ratio improved by 0.25%, falling to 2.88%. Despite a 15% growth in advances, the bank's core net interest income rose by just 9% during the quarter, reaching Rs 1,615 crore.
