The trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day has set a new record as the biggest movie trailer launch in history, reaching 718.6 million views in just 24 hours. Launched on Thursday, the premise of the movie will explore a new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man, following the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The movie's trailer launch has smashed the previous record held by 'Deadpool and Wolverine', which had 365 million views. As soon as the trailer premiered, fans around the world tuned in eagerly to see the first glimpse of the film. According to a report by Variety, Spider-Man: Brand New Day now also holds the record for the biggest trailer ever. It surpassed last year's Grand Theft Auto VI trailer, which had 475 million views in 24 hours. The trailer's launch came after Sony teased it with short snippets a day earlier, generating buzz for the full trailer's record-breaking debut.

Brand New Day will mark actor Tom Holland's first appearance as Spider-Man since No Way Home released in 2021. The movie brought together Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield and became a global blockbuster, grossing $1.9 billion at the worldwide box office.

The cast of Spider-Man: Brand New Day includes Tom Holland, Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando and Mark Ruffalo, among others. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film releases on July 31.
