Riteish Deshmukh's 'Raja Shivaji' has completed its second weekend at the box office. The historical drama witnessed improved collections, higher occupancy rates, and an increased screen count during the second weekend, giving a solid boost to its total collections.

The film has collected Rs 6.8 crore from a total of 4,063 shows, reports Sacnilk. These numbers indicate a 21.4% growth from the previous day's (Day 9) net collection of Rs 5.6 crore.

The film has now collected a total India net of Rs 68.25 crore. The total gross collections of India are valued at Rs 81 crore.

Language-Wise Breakdown

  • Marathi: The Marathi version collected Rs 5 crore across 2,000 shows. The occupancy rate stood strong at 47%.
  • Hindi: The Hindi version earned Rs 1.80 crore from 2,063 shows, with an occupancy of 21%.

Occupancy - Day 10

  • Marathi (2D): The overall occupancy of the day reported a strong 49.00%. The mornings started with 32.00% occupancy rate, followed by the afternoon shows that surged to an impressive 58.57%. Evening shows further improved to 64.14% while the night shows fell slightly to 41.29%.
  • Hindi (2D): The Hindi version recorded an occupancy of 31.37%. Morning shows recorded 13.77%, while afternoon shows improved to 39.62%. Evening shows recorded the best occupancy at 45.23% while the night shows reported 21.31%.

Region-Wise Breakdown

  • Marathi (2D): Mumbai led with 548 shows at 50.5% occupancy, followed by Pune with 379 shows at an impressive 59.8%. Nashik (55 shows, 55%) and Sangli (25 shows, 53.5%) also recorded healthy occupancy rates on Day 10.
  • Hindi (2D):  Mumbai recorded 94 shows with 32% occupancy, while Pune delivered a strong 66% occupancy from 30 shows. Most other cities like Ahmedabad (186 shows, 22.8%), NCR (164 shows, 21.8%), and Hyderabad (53 shows, 25.0%), saw decent occupancy.

Box Office Performance So Far

The film collected Rs 11.35 crore across 6,192 shows on the opening day. The Marathi version alone collected Rs 8.00 crore with an occupancy of 68%. The opening weekend registered strong numbers with the first Saturday collecting Rs 10.55 crore and Sunday bringing in Rs 12.00 crore, across both versions.

Following the typical weekday fallout and reduced occupancies, the film collected Rs 5.60 crore on Monday, Rs 4.90 crore on Tuesday, Rs 4.25 crore on Wednesday, and Rs 4.00 crore on Thursday. With these numbers, the Week 1 collections wrapped up at Rs 52.65 crore.

Day 8 (second Friday) collected Rs 3.20 crore. The second weekend started strong with Saturday bringing in Rs 5.60 crore and Sunday collecting Rs 6.80 crore.
