Spy-action thriller 'Dhurandhar 2' directed by Aditya Dhar has rewritten box office history in its 49-day theatrical run, while 'Bhooth Bangla', directed by Priyadarshan, enjoyed a steady run at the box office in its first two weeks.

However, week seven saw a downslide for the Ranveer Singh film, while the Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Bhooth Bangla' witnessed an overall dip in collections in its third week.

Box Office Collection - Day 49 vs Day 20

'Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge' collected Rs 0.52 crore across 859 shows on Wednesday, reports Sacnilk. These figures indicate a 5.5% drop from Tuesday's collection of Rs 0.55 crore. It broke its consistent streak in its seventh week, collecting below Rs 1 crore for the first time in its lifetime.

'Bhooth Bangla' collected Rs 1.75 crore across 4,522 shows on Wednesday, marking a 22.2% drop from Tuesday's net collection of Rs 2.25 crore.

Total Collection

The latest numbers have taken 'Dhurandhar 2' India gross collection to Rs 1,364.61 crore and India net to Rs 1,140.17 crore till now. The worldwide gross collections now stand at a whopping Rs 1,790.91 crore.

'Bhooth Bangla's' India gross stands at Rs 175.93 crore and India net at Rs 148.25 crore. Overseas, the film has accumulated Rs 56.85 crore, taking its worldwide gross to a solid Rs 232.78 crore.

Occupancy Trends for Wednesday

This is what the seventh-week run looked like for 'Dhurandhar 2':
Hindi: 16% occupancy across 820 shows, collecting Rs 0.50 crore.  
Tamil: 28% occupancy from 13 shows, collecting Rs 0.01 crore.  
Telugu: 13% occupancy across 26 shows, collecting Rs 0.01 crore.

On the other hand, 'Bhooth Bangla' recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 16.12%. Morning shows recorded low figures of 4.62%  while the afternoon shows surged to 10.85%. Evening shows recorded 10.38% before the day concluded, with night shows reporting 19.46% occupancy.

With 'Dhurandhar 2' now concluding its seventh week, collections have dropped significantly, falling below the Rs 1-crore mark. The number of shows has also reduced sharply during this week. Meanwhile, 'Bhooth Bangla' witnessed a boost in its total collections thanks to its third weekend. However, the film saw an overall drop in daily collections and the number of shows in its third week.
