The wedding reception of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna turned into one of the biggest celebrity gatherings in Hyderabad, drawing a galaxy of stars from across the South film industry and Bollywood.
The grand event unfolded on March 4 at the uber-luxurious Taj Krishna in Banjara Hills.
The couple, fondly referred to by fans as “Virosh”, tied the knot in Udaipur on Feb. 26 in a private ceremony that blended Telugu traditions from Vijay's side with Kodava customs from Rashmika's family.
Southern Stars Turn Up In Full Strength
The reception witnessed the presence of several top names from the Telugu film industry. Among those who attended were megastar Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna Akkineni with wife Amala Akkineni and son Naga Chaitanya, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan with wife Upasana Kamineni, Venkatesh Daggubati, Rana Daggubati with wife Miheeka Bajaj, Ravi Teja, and Nani.
Actors Sreeleela, Mrunal Thakur, Pranitha Subhash, Krithi Shetty, Dheekshith Shetty, Naveen Polishetty, Satyadev Kancharana, Sharwanand, Adavi Sesh, Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, and Rahul Ramakrishna were also spotted at the venue.
Filmmakers Sukumar, Sekhar Kammula, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and producer Naga Vamsi attended the celebrations as well. Veteran actors Radhika Sarathkumar, R. Sarathkumar, and Tamil star Karthi also graced the event. Actor Mahesh Babu could not attend the event, but his wife Namrata Shirodkar and daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni represented the family.

Bollywood Celebrities In Attendance
The reception also saw strong representation from Bollywood. Filmmaker Karan Johar, actress Kriti Sanon, casting director Mukesh Chhabra, filmmaker Vikas Bahl, and producer Dinesh Vijan attended the star-studded bash. Actress Rhea Chakraborty and veteran star Neena Gupta along with her husband Vivek Mehra also graced the occasion.
Political Guests Who Blessed The Couple
Several political leaders also joined the celebrations, including D. K. Shivakumar, G. Kishan Reddy, and K. T. Rama Rao along with his family. Senior leaders T. Harish Rao, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Malla Reddy, and Mohammed Ali Shabbir were also present, while Geetha Reddy attended on behalf of the Telangana Chief Minister's family. Although Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy were invited, they were unable to attend the reception.

Couple's Traditional Looks Win Hearts
For the reception, the couple embraced traditional South Indian attire. Rashmika Mandanna wore a red Mysore silk saree with temple jewellery, styled with a centre-parted bun and classic bridal makeup. Vijay Deverakonda complemented her in a pearl-white shirt and dhoti, keeping his look simple yet elegant as they greeted the media and posed for photos with their families.
With stars from multiple film industries and political circles under one roof, the 'Virosh' reception quickly became one of the most talked-about celebrations in the entertainment world. At one point, Vijay joked with photographers, saying, “Today we hope to finish this celebration and go underground. Quiet,” leaving Rashmika laughing beside him.
