Suriya starrer Vishwanath and Sons witnessed yet another day of collections in India. The film saw increase in Day 8 collections over Day 7.
Vishwanath and Sons grossed Rs 4.50 crore net in India from 2,805 screenings with 30.5% occupancy on Day 8. As per Sacnilk, the film's India net collection stands at Rs 86.10 crore and India gross at Rs 99.52 crore. Overseas, the film added 1.50 crore on Day 8, taking the overseas gross to Rs 50.25 crore. The total worldwide gross collection stands at Rs 149.77 crore.
The Telugu version of the film earned Rs 2.35 crore from 1,258 screenings with 36% occupancy on Day 8. Tamil version, on the other hand, fetched Rs 2.15 crore from 1,547 screenings with 26% occupancy as per the report.

Box Office Collection So Far
Based on Sacnilk data, the film opened with Rs 15.35 crore on Day 1 and grew to Rs 22.25 crore on Day 2. The film collected Rs 20.55 crore on Day 3 before dropping to Rs 7.80 crore on Day 4. It added Rs 6.35 crore on Day 5, followed by Rs 5.10 crore on Day 6 and Rs 4.20 crore on Day 7. Its Week 1 collection stood at Rs 81.60 crore.
Day 8's Rs 4.50 crore collection marked a 7.1% growth over Day 7.
