The National Stock Exchange's initial public offering is likely to receive a no objection certificate in the next two months from the Securities and Exchange Board of India, people familiar with the matter told NDTV Profit. The NOC is to follow SEBI's acceptance of NSE's settlement amount offer of Rs 1,400 crore, they added.

SEBI Fines BSE

The Securities and Exchange Board of India on Wednesday placed a penalty of Rs 25 lakh on BSE Ltd. for failing to provide equal access to corporate disclosures to all stakeholders and take action against brokers with frequent modifications during trades. The market regulator passed the order after an inspection conducted between February 2021 and September 2022.

CBSE Two-Exam Board System Explained

The Central Board of Secondary Education on Wednesday decided to implement the policy of two board exams in Class 10 from 2026.

The plan was floated in the National Education Policy-2020 that aimed to eliminate the 'high stakes' aspect of CBSE board exams by allowing students to take board exams on up to two occasions during any given school year — one main examination and one for improvement.

Vodafone Aims For $2.9 Billion In Loans

Vodafone Idea Ltd. is talking to lenders to borrow about Rs 250 billion ($2.9 billion) in loans to bolster its network and compete better with large rivals, according to people familiar with the matter to Bloomberg.  

The State Bank of India will likely lead a consortium of lenders, said the people who did not want to be named as the matter is private, adding the debt is expected to be a mix of domestic and foreign loans with a tenor of about 10 years.
