After a series of tense matches, nail-biting finishes and fierce competition, the top four teams for the Indian Premier League 2025 play-offs are here.
Punjab Kings, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians have moved to the next stage of the tournament.

IPL 2025 Playoffs: Teams And Format
The top two teams will face off in Qualifier 1 on May 29. The winner of Qualifier 1 will get a ticket straight to the final. The third and fourth-placed teams will compete in the Eliminator. The winner of the Eliminator and the loser of Qualifier 1 will square off in Qualifier 2 for the remaining spot in the IPL 2025 final.
This year, Punjab Kings finished at the top of the table with 19 points. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru secured a top-two finish with only net run rate separating them from the Punjab Kings.
Gujarat Titans are on the third spot with 18 points. Mumbai Indians round up the top four with 16 points to their name.
For Punjab, the IPL 2025 has been a dream run of sorts, with only four losses till date. They will be looking to maintain their winning momentum when they square off against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Chandigarh on May 29. Bengaluru are coming off a dominant win against the Lucknow Super Giants and their fiery batting might be tough to counter.
For Mumbai Indians, the tournament is a chance to get their sixth IPL title and set a new record in the tournament. A resurgent Gujarat Titans make the Mumbai-based outfit’s way to the final a tough road.
