Crompton Greaves Q4 Results Review: ICICI Securities Maintains 'Buy', Sees 28% Upside — Here's Why

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd. reported a strong set of numbers in Q4 FY25. Highlights:

1. There is revival in revenue growth as well as profitability of Butterfly. It was a drag on consolidated earnings over past seven quarters. With optimization of trade incentives and select price hikes, the profitability has revived.

2. The company has entered in rooftop solar business. It has already invested in supply chain arrangements and also plans to leverage brand and distribution of Crompton. Considering the category size of Rs 200 billion and growth potential, we believe there is strong right-to-win for Crompton in rooftop solar similar to its success in solar pumps. The company has added multiple products/ variants to its portfolio and has steadily expanded the addressable market.

3. While there was healthy growth in appliances with strong growth in coolers, we believe there is potential for muted Q1 FY26 with unseasonal rains across India in Q1 FY26.

We trim FY26–27E earnings by 0.4%-3.2% and retain Buy rating.
