Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd.'s profit fell 2.2% in the third quarter of the current financial year, meeting analysts' estimates.
The net profit of the eponymous toothpaste maker decreased to Rs 323 crore in the October-December quarter, according to an exchange filing on Tuesday. That compares with the Rs 335-crore consensus estimate of analysts tracked by Bloomberg.

Margin contracted 250 basis points to 31.1% versus 33.6% (Estimate: 31.50%).
Net profit down 2.2% to Rs 323 crore versus Rs 330 crore (Estimate: Rs 335 crore).
