The southwest monsoon has moved into some more parts Karnataka, Telangana and coastal Andhra Pradesh on Monday, with conditions favourable for its advance into remaining parts of the south peninsular India during the next four–five days.
"Southwest Monsoon advanced into some more parts of central Arabian Sea, some more parts of Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, some parts of Telangana and some more parts of Westcentral and Northwest Bay of Bengal, today the 3rd June," the India Meteorological Department posted on X.
Conditions are favourable for further advance of the monsoon into the remaining parts of south peninsular India, some parts of south Chhattisgarh and south Odisha, some more parts of westcentral and northwest Bay of Bengal during the next four–five days, the IMD said.
