Popular American pop singer Jason Derulo and Irish pop band The Script will make their India debut and headline Shillong's Cherry Blossom Festival 2025. This comes after Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias announced his return to Mumbai on Oct. 30.
The event will be held in Shillong on Nov. 14 and Nov.15 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and Polo Grounds, where both the headliners will perform on Nov. 14.
The popular festival from North East has previously hosted singers like Akon, Bonny M’s Maizie Williams, Ronan Keating, Ne-Yo, and more.
The Cherry Blossom Festival marks the first-ever festival performance by Derulo in India. The 'Jalebi Baby' singer recently visited India to promote his collaboration with India-based actor, singer and dancer Nora Fatehi on the song 'Snake'. Meanwhile, The Script, who are known for songs like 'Breakeven' and 'The Man Who Can’t Be Moved,' will also be making their debut in India.
Tickets are expected to go on sale at the end of June, according to a festival press release.
After successful concerts by international artists such as Guns N' Roses, Coldplay, Bryan Adams, Maroon 5, in recent times, Indians are all set for an exciting year end.
