The Motilal Oswal Foundation has pledged to help educate 108 children from 14 states of the country, at Mewar University for the next five years.
The foundation has adopted children from very poor families and will provide free education in the Mewar University residential campus in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, with the objective of giving them skills for employment.
The foundation expressed thanks to Dr Ashok Kumar Gadiya, chairman, Mewar University for his support.
Mewar University in collaboration with Motilal Oswal Foundation is offering talented students a chance to pursue higher education from Mewar University at zero fees. The selected student will receive a 100% scholarship (50% will be borne by the University and 50% will be borne by Motilal Oswal Foundation) in tuition fees and hostel fees—both during the years of study at the University, according to the institution's website.
