News Live Update: Evacuation Of Indian Nationals From Israel
Operation Sindhu, which is the evacuation of Indian nationals from Israel. In view of the recent developments between Israel and Iran, the government of India has decided to evacuate from Israel those Indian nationals who wish to leave, as per the Ministry of External Affairs.
Their travel from Israel to India will be facilitated through the land borders and thereafter by air to India. The Embassy of India in Tel Aviv would be making arrangements for the evacuation of Indians. All Indian nationals are requested to register themselves with the Embassy of India in Tel Aviv.
The Embassy urges all Indian citizens in Israel to remain vigilant and strictly follow the safety guidelines issued by Israeli authorities and the Home Front Command. The government will continue to monitor the situation closely. The Embassy remains continuously in touch with the community with a view to extending all feasible assistance.
News Live Update: MoCA On Black Box Speculations
The Ministry of Civil Aviation has said that the decision to send the black box of the fateful Air India 171 abroad for further analysis is yet to be taken after further assessment.
"It has been reported in certain media outlets that the CVR/DFDR from the ill-fated AI171 flight is being sent abroad for retrieval and analysis. The decision regarding the location for decoding the flight recorders will be taken by the AAIB after due assessment of all technical, safety, and security considerations," it said.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation further urged all stakeholders to refrain from speculation on such sensitive matters and to allow the investigative process to proceed with the seriousness and professionalism it warrants.

The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau has commenced a formal inquiry into the Air India flight crash near Ahmedabad.
A multi-disciplinary team from AAIB has commenced investigation from 12 June 2025. The investigation has been ordered by DG, AAIB. National Transportation Safety Board and Original Equipment Manufacturer teams have arrived to assist AAIB as per International Civil Aviation Organization protocols.
The AAIB investigation is progressing steadily with all necessary support from local authorities and agencies. Key recovery work, including site documentation and evidence collection, has been completed, and further analysis is now underway
A combined unit of the Digital Flight Data Recorder and Cockpit Voice Recorder has been recovered from the crash site on 13 June 2025 and another set was found on 16 June as this model has two Blackbox sets.
