The finance ministry has given in-principle approval for compensating state-run oil marketing companies for losses incurred on the subsidised sale of LPG cylinders, according to people familiar with the matter.
The finance ministry is working on compensation mechanism for the OMCs on subsidised sale of LPG cylinders, sources in the government told NDTV Profit.
