Zensar Technologies Shares Jump 11%, Near 52-Week High

Zensar Technologies shares jumped as much as 11 per cent on Friday, following the announcement of a multi-million dollar deal. Zensar Technologies won the two-year digital transformation project from Avis Fleet in South Africa, said the Pune-based IT services firm in a statement. 

"It involves adding scalability and agility to the company's strategic technology road-map. Zensar will leverage its digital technology skills and expertise to enable Avis Fleet in improving overall customer experience and visible enhancement in quality of service," Zensar said. 

Avis Fleet is the largest fleet management company in Southern Africa with over 1000 customers, 313 316 vehicles and operations in eight African countries. 

The sharp rally in Zensar Technologies helped the stock near its 52-week high of Rs 1,136.

Zensar Technologies shares ended 3.71 per cent higher at Rs 1,042.55.
