Tata Motors' Jamshedpur plant to remain closed for three days: report

Tata Motors will observe a three-day block closure at its Jamshedpur plant from August 29, company sources said today.

"Keeping in view the prevailing economic scenario, we have taken appropriate action time to time to match production with demand," sources told PTI.

The closure was aimed at preventing unnecessary build-up of inventory in the company as well as dealers, sources said. This, however, could not be independently verified with the company.
