Sterlite has named Monica Madan as its new chief financial officer, the company announced on Monday. She takes over from Parag Jain, who previously held the role.
Announcing the appointment, Sterlite CEO Reshu Madan said, “Monica’s extensive global experience and financial acumen make her the ideal leader to support Sterlite’s next phase of growth. As we strengthen our presence in power transmission worldwide, her leadership will be crucial in scaling our operations and creating long-term value.”
Bringing over 20 years of experience with leading Fortune 500 companies, Monica has held senior roles at McAfee, Microsoft, and Shell, managing operations across India, Southeast Asia, the United States, and Europe. Prior to joining Sterlite, she served as CFO of Schneider Electric Ireland, where she led key financial transformation initiatives and drove business expansion.
Commenting on her new role, Monica Madan said, “With my background spanning various industries and global markets, I am excited to work with Sterlite’s talented team to strengthen financial performance and drive operational excellence.”
She also took to LinkedIn to share the same.
Sterlite is a leader player in power infrastructure solutions, operating in over 70 countries. The company specialises in manufacturing high-performance power conductors, extra-high voltage, high voltage, medium voltage cables, and optical ground wires.
