Xolo unveiled its XOLO 8X-1000 with 'Hive Inside' on Wednesday. Hive is Xolo's proprietary user interface platform and the 8X-1000 will be the first smartphone to run on the platform.

Hive is Xolo's take on the Android platform.
"XOLO 8X-1000 with #HIVEInside is finally out and we are just loving the response from you guys! Too much love here :D (sic)," Xolo tweeted.
The phone is priced at Rs 13,999, according to the company's website.
The Xolo 8X-1000 comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It has an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and Exmor R Sensor and a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
Xolo says the phone can deliver up to 11 hours of talk time and up to 352 hours of standby time on 2G networks.
