This takes Happy New Year into the top 10 list of all-time Bollywood hits, in terms of gross worldwide collection, according to Koimoi.com's numbers.
Released on Friday, Happy New Year also set new box-office records for first day as well as opening week collections.
Produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment and directed by Farah Khan, Happy New Year is a heist drama.
