European markets went back in the green on Monday after sliding earlier despite an emergency buyout of Credit Suisse aimed at preventing a fresh crisis for the global banking sector.

European markets went back in the green on Monday after sliding earlier despite an emergency buyout of Credit Suisse aimed at preventing a fresh crisis for the global banking sector.

The continent's leading stock markets were back close to balance at around 1030 GMT, with the Paris CAC 40 up 0.13 percent and Frankfurt's DAX up 0.17 percent.
