The 2014 Beat facelift looks very familiar inside, but is definitely more up-market than before. The hatchback comes equipped with several new features such as Chevrolet's MyLink touch radio system, a full-size USB port instead of the mini USB port, redesigned central console, high-quality seat upholstery and more. It features ABS with EDB, airbags, seat belts and various other safety measures.
The new Beat facelift comes powered with the 1.2-litre petrol and 0.9-litre diesel, which also power the existing model. The 1.2-litre, 1199cc, four cylinder, 16 valve, DOCH petrol engine produces a peak power output of 79 bhp with 108 Nm of torque. The Euro-IV compliant engine is combined with a five-speed manual transmission.
The company will also bring in an automatic transmission gearbox version of the car.
