"AirAsia Malaysia is proud to announce the commencement of Hyderabad from KL (Kuala Lumpur) on December 8th. The armada is coming, " AirAsia group chief executive officer (CEO) Tony Fernandes tweeted on Monday.
The inaugural all-inclusive fare on the Kuala Lumpur to Hyderabad route is Rs 2099.
To avail the special rate, tickets can be booked till October 5, for a travel period between December 8, 2014 and October 24, 2015.
Currently, AirAsia operates international flights from Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Kolkata and Tiruchirappalli and flies to a number of destinations including Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Phuket, Singapore and Bali.
AirAsia operates flights in the Indian domestic sector through a three-way venture between its Malaysia-based parent company AirAsia Berhad, Tata Group and Delhi-based investment firm Telestra Tradeplace. The Indian entity is called AirAsia India.
