Adani Green Energy Ltd. has added to its wind energy capacity, with the operatinalisation of a 48-megawatt project in Gujarat's Khavda.
The renewable energy arm of Adani Group, in a regulatory filing on Thursday, said its wholly-owned step-down subsidiary Adani Green Energy Twenty-Four Ltd. has "has operationalised incremental wind power project of 48 MW at Khavda."
With this plant becoming operational, Adani Green Energy's total renewable energy capacity has grown to 14,290.9 MW, the filing added.
Earlier this week, Adani Green Energy posted its quarterly business update. The company achieved a 28% year-on-year increase in energy sales, reaching 27,969 million units. Its operational capacity grew by 30% to 14.2 GW.
The update also detailed the company's portfolio performance, with the solar portfolio achieving a capacity utilisation factor of 24.8%, supported by 99.5% plant availability. The wind portfolio recorded a CUF of 27.2%, with 95.9% plant availability, while the hybrid portfolio reached a CUF of 39.5%, backed by 99.6% plant availability.
