The Adani Foundation took part in the Global CSR & Philanthropy Summit 2025 at Ganpat University, Mehsana.
The foundation's Executive Director, Vasant Gadhavi, spoke at the event, covering the 'inclusive,' 'sustainable,' and 'transformative' elements of their attempts to further grassroots development.
"By providing quality education, enabling access to essential healthcare services, empowering communities with income-generation skills and contributing towards a sustainable future, we are committed to bringing about a positive change in the lives of communities," the Adani Foundation said in a post on 'X' (formerly known as Twitter).
The Adani Foundation had also launched a dairy development program in Kawai, Rajasthan, according to a video posted on 'X' on Jan 17. The foundation reported that it engaged more than 600 women in its dairy development program in that region.
The foundation stated that the women earn between Rs 10,000 and Rs 15,000 monthly. The foundation said it was committed to making communities at the grassroots, "self-reliant and empowered."
Similarly, on Jan 8, the Adani Foundation announced that it was working with the cement company ACC and was running a program to organise women in self-help groups in rural Tikaria, Uttar Pradesh.
The Foundation said that it had helped resident Garima Tiwari to set up a home-based RO water plant to facilitate self-sufficiency.
Garima was provided assistance of Rs 60,000 along with a loan from the self-help group 'Laxmi' for Rs. 1 lakh, a personal bank loan of Rs 3 lakh, and an additional loan of Rs 1.5 lakh from the Uttar Pradesh National Rural Livelihoods Mission.
Tiwari used the funds to set up a home-based RO water plant, which supplies clean drinking water to local markets in the Gouriganj area. Her business makes a steady monthly income of Rs 19,000, which secures her family’s financial security and promotes community welfare.
