Apple iPhone 17 Price: Get Ready To Shell Extra
According to estimates by Morgan Stanley, Apple may raise iPhone pricing by 4% to 6% globally in order to offset the effects of Trump tariffs.

Apple is anticipated to release the new iPhone 17 series in September. According to reports, there will be four different variants in the next iPhone 17 family: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
While the iPhone 17 is receiving a lot of interest because of all the right reasons, such as tech enhancements, new features, AI, better camera, and the incredibly lightweight iPhone 17 Air, fans are keeping an eye out for its prices too—with a bit of anxiety.
Apple Likely To Hike iPhone 17 Prices
A price hike is widely anticipated for Apple's next iPhone series, especially under the cloud of Trump tariffs. US President Donald Trump has threatened to levy a 25% tariff on all iPhones manufactured outside of the US.
Even if there is no timeframe to these tariffs, there is a 10% baseline tariff on all imports and a 30% tariff on goods from China, where Apple still produces the majority of its products.
When the first tariff pause ends in July, those rates might also begin to increase, which might result in higher prices for the iPhone 17. According to estimates by Morgan Stanley, Apple may raise iPhone pricing by 4% to 6% globally in order to offset the effects of Trump tariffs.
Apple reportedly also intends to increase iPhone prices this year regardless of tariffs, on the back of higher design costs and feature enhancements.
How Much Could iPhone 17 Cost?
The base iPhone 17 model might retail for around Rs 89,900 in India, while the high-end iPhone 17 Pro Max might cost up to Rs 1,64,900. The lightweight iPhone 17 Air is rumoured to be priced around Rs 95,000.
In the US, the price of the base iPhone 17 could be $899, while the Pro Max may touch $2,300. The iPhone 17 Air is estimated to cost around $900, but this figure could be higher too, because these estimates are on the basis of current costs and don’t include potential impacts from tariffs.
