The OnePlus Nord 6 is scheduled to launch in India on April 7. Ahead of its release, the brand has confirmed key specs and features of the smartphone, including processor, battery capacity, camera configuration, and safety rating. A key highlight of the Nord 6 is its massive 9,000mAh battery, which OnePlus touts is “the segment's biggest.” The Nord 6 sports a design mirroring the OnePlus 15 and will get a Snapdragon chipset, a Sony-made primary camera, useful AI features, and top-of-the-line safety ratings.

The OnePlus Nord 6 draws its design cues from the OnePlus 15, with a sleek make, smooth edges, and a squircle (square with rounded corners) rear camera module. It comes in three colourways, Fresh Mint, Pitch Black, and Holographic Quick Silver — the latter standing out due to its eye-catching holographic border design running along the edges.
According to OnePlus, the Nord 6 includes a 50MP Sony primary rear camera equipped with dual-axis optical image stabilisation, paired with a 32MP front camera that supports multi-focus capabilities. It can record videos in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second.
A major draw of the Nord 6 is its massive 9,000mAh battery, which OnePlus claims is the biggest in its segment and can last more than 2.5 days on a single charge. It supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, 27W wired reverse charging, and bypass charging for durability during intensive tasks.
The Nord 6 will come powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, supporting up to 165fps in games like Battlegrounds Mobile India, thanks to a dedicated Touch Reflex chip and a six-axis gyroscope. The company states that the Nord 6 delivers up to 136% higher CPU performance, 64% better GPU performance, and 25% improved AI capabilities compared to previous models. It achieves an impressive AnTuTu benchmark score of 2,503,854. The device gets up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It also incorporates a G2 Wi-Fi chip to improve connectivity in weak signal areas and supports advanced 5G features.
The Nord 6 includes several OnePlus AI features such as Circle to Search, personalised Google Gemini integration, real-time translation and summarisation, AI Ghostwriter, and additional smart tools.
For durability, the device boasts top-notch IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings against dust and water, combined with military-grade drop resistance. OnePlus has promised six years of software updates along with a lifetime guarantee on the display.

According to earlier leaks by tech tipsters, OnePlus Nord 6's price in India could be in the Rs 35,000 to Rs 40,000 range.
