Leaked: Foldable Apple iPhone’s Under-Display Camera, Resolution, Display Size
The foldable device could have a 7.76-inch inner panel with a resolution of 2,713x1,920 pixels and “under-screen camera technology.”

As the interest in a foldable iPhone grows, so do the speculations and leaks. According to a latest claim, Apple’s rumoured foldable iPhone might also include a camera built into the screen for Face ID, a technology that has not been seen in any other Apple phone.
As per a recent Weibo post by renowned leaker Digital Chat Station, the iPhone may have an under-display camera for the inner display, just like the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Along with the under-screen camera tech, possible dimensions for the rumoured iPhone Fold are provided by the leak.
The foldable device could have a 7.76-inch inner panel with a resolution of 2,713x1,920 pixels and “under-screen camera technology” and a 5.49-inch outer display with a 2,088x1,422 pixel resolution along with a punch-hole camera, as per Digital Chat Station.
The leaker had previously disclosed the purported display dimensions of the device, stating that the inside folding panel would feature a 4:3 aspect ratio. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has confirmed these measurements and added that the interior screen is “crease-free”. But as of yet, there has been no claim made regarding the device’s use of under-screen camera tech.
In order to conserve internal space, Kuo also thinks the foldable iPhone would have a rear-facing camera with two lenses and will use a Touch ID button on the side instead of Face ID identification.
There have been speculations that Apple is also developing a foldable iPad, possibly with under-display Face ID technology. Now with the new leak of under-screen camera tech, it appears that Apple is looking to align the design and technology of the two folding devices.
As per earlier reports, the foldable iPhone could launch in 2026 or 2027. The device also recently moved into Foxconn’s New Product Introduction (NPI) phase, and mass production is expected to start in the second half of 2026, according to analyst Jeff Pu.
With regard to price, Bloomberg reporter and tech insider Mark Gurman has noted that Apple’s foldable iPhone will come with a premium price tag of about $2,000.
