A new iPhone is about to be launched and this time, a larger part of the Apple fandom will be able to afford it. And no, they won't have to settle for a small smartphone either, as this one is expected to be as big as the other, normal ones are. We are referring to iPhone SE 4 launch date of course. Notably, according to the latest reports, iPhone SE 4 release date has been pushed forward and it may well be out next week itself. Earlier, most reports had it that it would launch somewhere in late March or early April 2025. The reason why is still not clear, although rival launches may have something to do with it.
So, what is the iPhone SE 4 likely to come up against? While there will be a huge number of Chinese smartphones to contend with, the real competition will likely come from two upcoming and affordable smartphones, one from a Google and the other from Nothing. The first one is the Google Pixel 9a and the other is the Nothing Phone 3a. Both are affordable smartphones. Nothing Phone 3a is set to be launched on March 4, while the Pixel 9a is expected to be rolled out in Europe on March 19. In the US, it may go on sale a week later.
Notably, the iPhone SE 4 will likely look like the iPhone 14. It will lose the home button, lightning port and Touch ID that were seen on previous models of iPhone SE. Also, if you were expecting a launch event, then know that this phone has always received a quiet launch. As such, it will be likely launched softly, without any fanfare.
As far as iPhone SE 4 price on launch is considered, considering the software and upgrades that are expected, it will be more than what the iPhone SE 3 was launched on, which was Rs 43,900.
